Example One
You are a mentor working with a student teacher who has been disrespectful to a student in class. What do you say that will respect his knowledge and competence while correcting the behavior?
Example Two
You are on a student IEP group with a colleague who has been teaching for many more years than you. You completely disagree with her suggestions for this student. How do you state your concerns without disrespecting her status and seniority.
Example Three
You are confronting a parent who works odd hours and has not been providing the educational support at home that the child requires to succeed. How do you start this discussion to support their face as well as your own?
