Summary and Feedback

In this module you were able to view some videos about how to
participate in a TRIAD Conversation that highlighted active listening
and questioning techniques. Hopefully you can now describe the purpose of reflecting
feelings, inquiring and asking questions and diffusing defensiveness
when communicating with people. You learned about types of comments you
can use while practicing active listening so people's needs can be
realized and met.
You have gained valuable insight and information as to how good preparation can aid in a successful TRIAD meeting. In a TRIAD, if there is a problem to be discussed, you have learned that the practice of active listening is beneficial to gather information about common goals and needs to find a solution and reach a consensus for the issue.
