This podcast recording was done at the 2005 Roots to Wings Battering Intervention conference held in Dearborn Michigan in early November. I interview John Beams and Bob Paskoff about their early days working with men to end violence against women. Unfortunately, I lost the second half of John Beams story due to a mic problem, so his comments are just a taste of the good ideas he shared. This was originally released as part of the “Conflict Learning Audio Podcast” that Bill Warters (me) produced years ago. Before posting it here, I ran it through at AI audio cleaning app to remove some of the background sounds from the hotel lobby. Unfortunately for me perhaps, I come out sounding more like a teenager with a potential speech impediment, but the interview subjects sound good and the distracting background noises were completely removed.
