Restorative Approaches in Education

The Center for Dispute Resolution at Maryland Carey Law (C-DRUM) recently unveiled their updated Restorative Approaches in Education website. Full of resources and information useful for individuals, schools, and organizations throughout their restorative journey. The information is organized by purpose and function and contains over 100 available videos, articles, lesson plans, manuals, and more.

A few highlights include a focus on Equitable and Inclusive Restorative Approaches, featuring a series of mini-lessons on racial equity from Maryland restorative approaches experts and a podcast series “Our Stories; Our Voices” developed by Robin McNair M.Ed., founder of The Restorative Classroom and Restorative Practices Coordinator for Prince George’s County Public Schools. The five-episode podcast describes her path to restorative approaches and interviews other educators and youth-serving professionals about how restorative approaches have affected their lives.
